Project is still $150,000 short of funds to complete; local industry asked to step up

We were able to make an appearance on local radio on November 11th to pitch for the memorial and for orders for the engraved bricks to continue.
An order for thirty-eight bricks was just submitted.
A grant re-application has been made to T-Mobile. This application was made last year but the grant was not approved at that time. We feel that, now that progress on the project can be demonstrated, we will have a better chance for the grant this time. If the full amount requested I granted, we could receive $50,000.
Work has begun on installing the limestone facing panels and both walls are up and capped, with final grouting underway. About the only work remaining for this portion is to complete the facings for the end pedestals. If weather permits, that could be completed within a couple of weeks.
We continue to look for donations from local industries and businesses; we need about $150,000 to complete everything.
Final landscaping work is unlikely to commence until spring. We anticipate the dedication to occur on Memorial Day 2025.
